In February 1967, in the history of Padmashali community of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, a golden chapter has begun to take shape.
Prominent social workers, Late Sri Addagatla Narasaiah and Late Sri Nomula Swamidas, had conceived an idea of establishing a Community Centre/Hall for the Integrated Development and Welfare of Padmashali Society.
Many prominent community members had readily consented the idea and the
concept was translated into reality after acquiring a site of 4220sq
yards for the Centre at West Marredpally, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh,
india.
With the unanimous resolution of the founder members it was named as PADMASHALI SEVA SAMAJAM TRUST. Late Sri Addagatla Narasaiah, Sri Nomula Swamidas, Sri Surakanti Veeresham, Sri Samala Venkataiah etc. have declared initial donations and collected from other elders. Within a short span they have strengthened the Trust by building commercial shops facing the main road on the above site. In a phased manner, the Trustees have built other buildings as required.
In the year 1984 the Trust had resolved to construct for the needs of social, cultural and other activities of our society, a beautiful multipurpose function hall in the name and style of Padmashali Kalyana Mandapam. For this noble cause notable donations were contributed by Shri Chippa Babaiah, Shri Sanghisetty Shambaiah and also founder trustees. Other donors had also contributed their support till the completion of Padmashali Kalyana Mandapam.
On 28-01-1990 our prestigious hall was inaugurated by Shri Marri Chenna Reddy, the then Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh. Now, it enjoys the reputation as one of the best in Hyderabad & Secunderabad with all facilities at very reasonable price affordable by all.
